Chicago may not have the same status as that of New York but still people flock to Chicago. It is a very enjoyable city. It has a hugely impressive skyline. The mix of architectural styles coupled with one of the most skyscrapers such as the Sears Tower. Chicago offers a wealth of museums, festivals and performances the year round. You can walk down to any one of the famous parks or relax on the shores of Lake Michigan or even have a look around at the famous school city theater.  There are tons of small neighborhoods within the massive city, where you sample an eclectic mix of different people and cultures. Visit Detroit and you may be pleasantly surprised. There is a quite a lot to see in the downtown area. New Orleans

Partying in Nashville or Memphis may be one of the highlights of your trip, but it has become an art form in New Orleans. Festivities are in full swing in Bourbon Street in any time of the year. Everything is bigger in Texas; this is certainly true when it comes to the size of the state. From East to West and North to South, Texas seems to stretch endlessly. As a largest city in the state, Houston has a wide array of stuff to do and see. You can come across countless cultural events and performances. It is one of the few cities with opera ballet and symphony orchestra. 

The capital of Texas is Austin. Known as the “Live music capital of the world”, the city lives up to its name with countless music performances in numerous music venues. There is a unique vibe in the city.

The city of San Antonio has two most famous landmarks to offer – the Alamo and the River Walk. Both are conveniently located in the center. Alamo will be hard to forget even after you leave, while the ever expanding river walk lazily snakes by numerous bars, restaurants and shops.

Black Hills and Badlands

This area of wilderness can be found in South Dakota and partly in Wyoming. The monument with the faces of four of the most iconic presidents carved out in stone has become one of the symbols of America. The rest of the Black Hills is starkly beautiful, with pine trees covering the slopes of the ragged stony peaks. There’s an awful lot of history and culture involved here. The city of Deadwood is also nearby. The Badlands is on the other hand is a barren land of eroded rock, spires, and pinnacles mixed with grass prairie. The black-footed ferret – one of the most endangered animals in North America – has also been reintroduced here.

St. Louis

One of the most important things to be noticed in St. Louis is the Gateway Arch. Located right downtown; the arch symbolizes the city’s history. Today, there’s still a lot to see in the city from the beer to the baseball. There’s still an excellent live music scene, with many famous stars calling the city home.
