UK is composed of England, Scotland and Ireland. This beautiful country of Europe has many spectacular places to see and visit. 1)     The Jurassic Coast


Jurassic coast is a stretch of rugged rocks, fossil filled beaches and waters which stretches from Dorset to Devon. This is famous for the picturesque Durdle Door, which is an arch over clear waters. It is also the home to some of the most fascinating pre historic fossils, which are still being discovered today.

2)     Manchester


Manchester is a very important town in England. It has its own charm and historical importance. It is an excellent weekend get away from London. It is a buzzing metropolis with an abundance of free museums, theater options, capital-rivaling cafes, an evolving art scene, Booze, football and shopping oasis add up to a criss-cross of culture, culinary quirks and hospitality. Manchester has a developed transport system with airport, trams and free city-center buses.

3) Beautiful Bath

Bath is a charming place located in South West of England. The honey colored marble that covers most of the Bath, the small traditional shops and the towering cathedral makes this a real gem to discover. The focal points of attractions are Roman Baths, which have now been converted into museums. Bath abbey is a very breathtaking building that you must see. With street performers and classical musicians around the squares, you can enjoy the old –world vibes.
4) Carlisle and Hadrian’s Wall

This is a very picturesque spot located in the very North of England. It spans 80 miles from both sides of the coast and is dotted with barracks and forts along the lush green landscapes of the hills.
5) Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a pre-historic monument is Wiltshire England, 3 kms from Amesbury. It consists of a ring of standing stones, with each stone around 13 feet high, 7 feet high and weighing around 25 tons. The stones are set within several hundred burial mounds.
6) South Dorset

If you are looking forward for a stay vacation with gorgeous landscapes, incredible sea food and loads of outdoor adventure, then you must select South Dorset as your destination. The cliffs here were formed 252 to 201 million years ago during the Triassic period.  It is a great place to rejuvenate and sight-seeing. Don’t miss it if you are in UK.
7) The Cotswolds

In case you are looking out for the most quintessentially English place to visit, then Cotswolds is the place. Stone cottages, flowing streams, winding roads and pretty villages make the Cotswolds a picture perfect destination. It is just two hours’ drive from London and in between you can stop over at Bath if you so desire. It is an ideal place for a weekend getaway. You can visit the Cotswold wildlife park and you can enjoy a close and personal experience with wildlife. Another great place to see would be Sezincote Estate, which spans over an area of 4500 acres with a 200 year old Moghul Indian palace. Cotswolds has inspired many writers and poets. It is one hour train hop from Bristol.
8) London

London is the Capital of England and obviously has its own charm as well as international importance. London has so much to offer and you have so much to see and enjoy. I would suggest you can avail the hop on hop off river cruise, which will be really an out of the world experience. This cost you not much and you can hop on and hop off as many times you like. Starting at Westminster Pier, the cruise goes all the way down to Greenwich. You can even climb the 02 Arena and ride the Emirates cable car to get an awesome view of the city from the sky.

London has got so many other historical places to see. You can visit the Tower Bridge on River Thames, as this has become an iconic symbol of London, also few other places of interest might attract you such as the Big Ben, the Westminster Abbey etc. London’s night life is very vibrant and a free spirited traveler would never ever like to miss it out. London is a very beautiful and a dynamic city which has the right balance of a modern and a traditional outlook.
9) Windsor Castle

If you have come to UK and not seen Windsor Castle, you have missed something really very great. Windsor Castle is the Royal Residence and is situated in the English County of Berkshire. Windsor Castle is known for its unique architecture and has a very long history. The castle was built in 11th century and it bears testimony to different tumultuous times of English History.
10)    Cornwall

Very few places in the world have the kind of breathtaking beauty that Cornwall has. This place is known for its out of world sceneries and magnificent beaches. It is a gem for hiking lovers. There is a lot of history associated with Cornwall. It is the birthplace of King Arthur and also it is famous for Michael’s Mount, which is famous for spectacular golden sands and the only pub on the beach.

Thus England offers you a gamut of places which have varied landscapes and beauty. England is truly a very beautiful land with an equally warm and welcoming people.
