1)  Cliffs of Moher:

The Cliffs of Moher are famous all over the world. These Cliffs drop into the ocean at the edge of the Burren region – another impressive feat of nature, which is a large stretch of rocky, karst land. The ideal combination of The Burren and The Cliffs make the area a good place to visit in Ireland. Countless movies from all over the world have been shot here. The Cliffs stretch eight kilometers along the western coast of country and rises to over 700 feet.

2)  Slieve League :

While the Cliffs of Moher get all the attention, there is another incredible precipice in Ireland. Slieve League is every bit as jaw dropping and boasts more natural beauty, unlike tourist trap of Moher. It is definitely one of the best places to visit in Ireland.

3) Wicklow:

This is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland. If you really want to see the rugged beauty the place is famous for, Wicklow is a must see on your Itinerary. Glendalough is an unmissable stop in Wicklow. It is the site for a 6th century monastery, a famous round tower and an unusually high cross.

4) The Dublin City:

This is the capital city of Ireland, with a population of around 2 million. It is a modern and a progressive city, full of life, laughter and opportunity. Don’t forget to visit the The Titanic Meuseum to get a feel of the harrowing history, that befell the Grand Ship, that was made right here in the city some one hundred years ago.

6)Aran Islands:

These are a short ferry ride from the mainland; you can the small and rocky islands known as Aran Islands. Getting there is like getting in a time machine, where you can see the Ireland of the 1800’s. The Aran Islands provides many opportunities for hiking, cycling and fishing. There are also a few early churches and Bronze age forts to have a look at.


7) The Mourne Mountains

These 28 peaks packed into a relatively small area along the southern coast of County Down, The Mournes are one of Northern Ireland’s favorite tourist attractions. The Mourne wall runs over 35 km, and connects 15 summits including Ireland’s highest peak Slieve Donard. The Mourne is a sort of paradise for climbers, hikers and campers. Placid lakes and woodland areas such as Tollymore Forest Park are just so appealing to the visitors and the area continues to be one of the big draws for visitors to the Ireland.


8) Doolin:

The unofficial capital of Irish traditional music is little more than a small, single street and a couple of little pubs and yet, more often than not visitors find themselves captivated, ensnared by its charm and reluctant to leave quickly. The village is postcard perfect with narrow roads that twists and turns through green meadows and stone walls and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. You can visit the O’Connor’s pub in the village that is always bubbling with fabulous food, drink and music, to warm your body and soul.
